Best for: Small to medium breeds — Chihuahuas, Dachshunds, Jack Russells, Cavalier King Charles, French Bulldogs, Miniature Schnauzers, Cockapoos under 12 kg.

Not suitable for: Large breeds or dogs over 12 kg. For larger dogs, we recommend a secured car crate or boot liner with a harness tether.

Is this actually compliant with UK law?
UK Highway Code Rule 57 states that dogs must be suitably restrained so they cannot distract the driver or injure themselves in an emergency stop. The Windsor's headrest strap secures your dog in an enclosed, elevated position — meeting this requirement without a rigid crate.

Can my dog still see out of the window?
Yes. The elevated design is specifically intended to give small dogs a clear sightline. This reduces travel anxiety and helps prevent car sickness — dogs who can see the horizon cope better with motion.

Is it machine washable?
The entire unit can be machine washed at 30°C. We recommend air drying for best results. The waterproof base means the inner padding stays protected between washes.

Will it fit my car?
The Windsor fits any vehicle with adjustable headrests (which is virtually every car made in the last 20 years). The strap adjusts to accommodate different headrest heights and seat angles.

What's the weight limit?
Designed for dogs up to 12 kg. This covers most small to medium breeds comfortably. For dogs over 12 kg, the bed may not provide adequate support and a secured boot liner or crate is recommended instead.
